Are You Ready?

According to the 2004 census projections 40.2 million seniors are expected to reach age 65 by 2010
The Department of Health and Human Services expects 40 percent of these seniors will likely enter a nursing home.
Statistics from the Center for Disease Control indicate that 80 percent of seniors over sixty-five suffer from one chronic desease and 50 percent suffer from two chronic diseases.

Quarterly Newsletter

These professionals include: doctors, nurses, administrators, therapists, registered dietitians, professors, financial advisors, attorneys, or agencies working with seniors. It will include senior statistics, tips and advice from care advocates, family members or information on community resources in areas throughout Virginia.
